Eberhard Büttner is the Managing Director and shareholder of
IBG Management Consulting GmbH and advises international technology companies on strategic location decisions for production, development, and industrial services. His focus is on identifying and evaluating optimal locations in Europe, particularly in Central and Eastern Europe, Turkey, and selected regions of North Africa. The basis of his work is a structured, fact-based location assessment that provides decision-makers with a sound foundation for investment decisions.

Before becoming a consultant, Eberhard Büttner held senior management positions in international technology companies for many years, including serving as Managing Director of a European company within the Panasonic Group. This operational responsibility continues to shape his consulting approach to this day: pragmatic, decision-oriented, and consistently focused on economic success.

He studied Electrical Engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), specializing in control and automation engineering.
